
Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon)
Westglenn has worked with numerous customers over the past 10 years helping them to get the most out of their Dynamics SL system. Westglenn's programming expertise helps them bring a level of technical expertise to bear that is unmatched by most traditional VARs. This includes application consulting, helpdesk services, customizing SL and integrating it with other systems.
BellSouth
BellSouth's PMAP application was an integral part of their being approved to offer long distance service. PMAP provides many reports to regulatory agencies and CLECs to document BellSouth's adherence to the performance targets specified under the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The original website wasn't handling the increasing performance demands that were being placed on it. Westglenn helped design a new reporting infrastructure using Visual Basic, COM, and Active Server Pages (ASP) to access an Oracle database under very tight deadlines to permit the site to keep up with heavy demand.
The University of Alabama-Birmingham
The University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) uses a custom contact management system for their development activities. In addition to tracking contact activity, it is integrated with financial information from the school's mainframe to provide giving history. Westglenn ported this system from an Access/Sybase based system to a web-based system using Active Server Pages (ASP) to work with an Oracle database.
Linden Lumber Company
Linden Lumber Company wanted to replace their separate UNIX-based operations and financial systems with an integrated Windows-based system. Westglenn designed and implemented a Visual Basic/SQL Server based system around Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) to handle purchasing, production, inventory, sales, and financial functions.
Gorrie-Regan and Associates
Gorrie-Regan and Associates wanted a Time and Attendance system to sell to their customers that were still using timeclocks. Westglenn worked with them to design and build Time Capture using Microsoft Visual Basic and Access.
Southern Nuclear
Southern Nuclear needed a system to help track inspections of the many components in their nuclear plants. Westglenn designed and built an Access database system that could be loaded on inspector's notebook computers.
E. A. Renfroe & Company
E.A. Renfroe provides catastrophe support services. In the aftermath of Hurricane Isabel, they needed to add some features to their system. Westglenn worked with their staff both in the field and at their home office to quickly make the changes while the system was being used by the insurance adjusters who needed to process homeowner's claims. Since then Westglenn has continued to provide application support to custom applications that integrate with their Microsoft Dynamics SL system.
